What It Takes To Be a Reliable Plumber on the Gold Coast

The term "reliable" gets thrown around a bit these days, especially in the context of your local Gold Coast Plumber - so we thought we'd put an end to it and set some definite boundaries around what it takes to be titled "reliable."

Lets set the precendent first up - with a little definition of the term...The Oxford Dictionary defines it as "the quality of being able to be trusted to do what somebody wants or needs."

Let's just go ahead and assume that in most cases for us here at Shark Plumbing that's going to mean people are entrusting us with the need to fix a plumbing problem in their home, workplace or otherwise. For us that goes beyond just doing the job...It's the communication before, during and after the job is complete, it's how we were to deal with on site, the quality of our workmanship and the timely nature with which we got the job booked in and completed. Let's start with that as the beat and jam it out from there...

COMMUNICATION

Lets be frank. We've all experienced a douhzey in our time when it comes to a tradesman so that was one of the pillars with which we built Shark Plumbing on...For us that breaks down again into a couple of key areas - communication around pricing and the work order as well as communication in general.

As far as general communication goes - a phrase we pioritise is "Early & Often" This goes from how we operate with regards to clients, touching base at every key interval of the job from outreach to completion to to interally within our company too...In fact we prioritise communication so much that we have almost as many people in the office as we do in the field! With a team working daily for client liaison.

The second part of communication as far as we're concerned is in and around the pricing. It's the grey area that has never been called so. And there is nothing worse than finding out too late that your invoice is in fact blowing out to a rediculous price without prior approval or notification of doing so.
